UK City and Guilds Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking (Culinary Arts) Principles
 

DURATION:

1 – Year

6 months Study & 6 months paid internship

*Under MOM training pass scheme 

INTAKE:

January, April, July, November

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Completed 12 years of schooling

Student must be 18 years of age if they do not have 10+2 qualification (9th or 10th failed students may also apply)

Student must have ability to understand, speak and write in English
Experience letter from Hotel, if there is a gap of more than six  months after studies

Food Hygiene
Kitchen maintenance and design
Budgeting, costing and control
Nutrition and dietetics
Menu planning
Preparation, cooking and service: meat and poultry
Preparation, cooking and service: fish dishes
Preparation, cooking and service: stocks, sauces and sauces
Preparation, cooking and service: vegetable dishes
Preparation, cooking and service: egg dishes
Preparation, cooking and service: rice dishes
Academic Progression
Students can proceed a do a Bachelor degree in UK, Australia, NZ, USA, Switzerland and France in Culinary Skills or Hospitality and Tourism.
Career Progression
There are many career prospects – as Food Production Assistant, Assistant Cook (Commis), Cook, Chef de Partie (Sectional Chef), Sous Chef (Second Chef), Head Chef, Executive Chef.

There are plenty of opportunities for chefs who have excellent experience but they do not have sufficient qualification, pursuance of this course gives them unique chance to obtain internationally recognized certificate. There are various opportunities of migrating to Australia and NZ as qualified chefs.

We also place graduates of our programme into hotels, restaurants, and cruises in USA, UK, Australia, Middle East and Singapore.

The UK City and Guilds Diploma in Food Preparation and Culinary Skills is recognized by the migration authorities of Australia and NZ.

Fees:

Tuition fees: S$4500 for 1 year

Non-Tuition fees: S$1400

Accommodation fees: S$150 -$350mthly,

Food: $150 to $250

Examination Fees: S$450

Student Pass: S$70 Payable to ICA

Medical: S$48.15

Includes ITE ISC Certificate in Food Preparation and Culinary Skills

3 months internship is guaranteed!

Pay an additional $1000.
